The plug-in-hybrid variant further boosts output to around 180 horsepower and offers a dedicated electric driving mode. Front-wheel drive is standard across the lineup.

The hybrid powertrain balances efficiency and responsiveness, with Niro achieving an EPA-estimated 53 mpg in city driving.
