2025 Kia Sorento
The 2025 Kia?Sorento stands tall as a midsize SUV designed for modern families, offering seating for six or seven, bold styling, and multiple powertrain choices. At Ken?Ganley?Kia?of?Alliance, we’re excited to present this versatile model that balances rugged capability, elevated tech, and comfortable accommodation.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The Sorento lineup includes LX, S, EX, X Line EX, SX, X Line SX, X Line SX Prestige, and X Pro SX Prestige trims. Base LX and S trims feature 17 or 18 inch alloy wheels, LED lighting, and clean fascia aesthetics. The turbocharged EX and SX introduce a more athletic presence with LED fog lamps, privacy glass, and dual-tone exterior badges. X-Line trims wear blacked-out Kia logos, rugged body cladding, roof rails, and exclusive 18 or 20 inch wheels. At the top, the X Pro variant boasts all-terrain tires, skid plates, lockable AWD and bold accent colors—a look equally at home on gravel roads and suburban driveways.
Engine (Power)
Four engine choices cater to different priorities. A 2.5?L naturally aspirated four-cylinder produces 191?hp and 195?lb-ft torque; paired with FWD or AWD, it returns up to 26?MPG combined. A 2.5?L turbo boosts output to 281?hp and 311?lb-ft, routed through an 8-speed dual-clutch auto, with AWD models returning around 23?MPG combined. The hybrid variant blends a 1.6?L turbo and electric motor for 227?hp and 258?lb-ft, achieving about 36/34?MPG city/highway. Meanwhile, the Sorento Plug in Hybrid increases output to 261?hp with 30?mile EV range.
Performance
The Sorento delivers an agreeable blend of responsiveness and ride comfort. Turbo models sprint to 60 in roughly 6.0–6.3 seconds. Steering feels lively and composed, though slightly numb at low speeds. Turbo AWD versions tow up to 3,500?lb, while X Pro variants enhance off-road grit with all-terrain tires, underbody protection, and center differential lock with up to 4,000?lb tow capacity.
Interior
Inside, the Sorento offers a family orientated three-row cabin. Standard dual 12.3 inch screens present both instrument and infotainment functions with crisp graphics and intuitive controls. Base trims include cloth seats, while EX and above bring faux leather, heated/ventilated front seats, and power driver adjustment. Higher trims feature wireless charging, Bose® 12 speaker audio, a digital rear view mirror, rear USB C ports, and convenient storage throughout.
Safety Features
The Sorento comes standard with Kia’s Drive Wise suite. All trims include forward collision avoidance with vehicle, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, lane-keeping, adaptive cruise control with curve assistance, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, driver attention monitoring, and safe-exit assist. Higher trims add 360° surround view camera, parking sensors, and navigation-based cruise control. X-Pro also includes downhill brake control, enhancing confidence on steep terrain.
