Alliance Community Pantry
At Ken Ganley Kia of Alliance, we’re proud to support the Alliance Community Pantry and the incredible work they do to fight food insecurity right here in our hometown. With one in seven individuals facing hunger in our area, the pantry has become a vital lifeline for families in need—serving clients from a conveniently located downtown space and offering food assistance every two weeks to those who qualify under state and federal guidelines.
In September, our team joined the effort by collecting food and non-food donations throughout the month, with the goal of filling an all-new Kia Sportage with supplies. We stopped by the pantry to meet with manager Debbie Skubiak, take a tour of the facility, and learn more about how they operate as a 100% volunteer-run organization. Every item collected went directly toward helping local families—and we were honored to be a part of it.
Our partnership with the Alliance Community Pantry reflects our belief that strong communities are built on compassion, connection, and a willingness to lend a helping hand. Whether it’s hosting a donation drive or volunteering our time, we’re committed to supporting organizations that are truly making a difference. We’re grateful to the pantry team for welcoming us and for the vital work they do every single day.
Greater Cleveland Food Bank
Giving back is at the heart of what we do at Ken Ganley Kia of Alliance, and we were honored to spend time volunteering at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank—Northeast Ohio’s largest hunger relief organization. With more than 424,000 people served across six counties in 2024 alone, the Food Bank plays a critical role in fighting food insecurity and making sure individuals and families have access to nutritious meals.
Our team joined the effort during a recent volunteer shift, helping prepare food that impacted over 2,600 families. It was an incredibly rewarding experience to see firsthand how the Food Bank connects people with both essential groceries and resources like SNAP outreach. From food pantries and hot meal programs to shelters and mobile distributions, the reach of this organization is truly inspiring.
We’re proud to support the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and grateful for the opportunity to be part of such meaningful work. Volunteering alongside their dedicated team reminded us that even a few hours of our time can make a big difference in someone’s life—and that’s a message we’ll carry with us in everything we do, both in and out of the dealership.
St. Jude Walk/Run: Supporting Every Step Toward a Cure
At Ken Ganley Kia of Alliance, supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® is more than just a cause—it’s a commitment to hope, healing, and making a difference. In both 2024 and again this coming September 2025, we’re proud to serve as the presenting sponsor of the St. Jude Walk/Run in Cleveland. This vibrant, family-friendly event is part of a nationwide movement to honor Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and raise critical funds for lifesaving research and treatment.
Each step taken during the St. Jude Walk/Run represents a stride toward finding cures and ensuring no family faces cancer alone. Our team is actively involved—not only showing up to walk but also fundraising and rallying our community to join us. We believe in St. Jude’s mission: that no child should die in the dawn of life, and that families should never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food.
In 2024, the event impacted hearts across the region and raised thousands of dollars toward St. Jude’s $150,000 goal—and we’re aiming even higher in 2025. We invite our customers, friends, and neighbors to join us at Mall C in Cleveland or participate virtually. Whether you walk, donate, or simply help spread the word, your support helps fuel breakthroughs in research and gives families strength when they need it most.
Toys For Tots
At Ken Ganley Kia of Alliance, the holiday season is about more than just decorations and car sales—it’s about spreading joy and making sure every child in our community feels remembered. That’s why we proudly support the Stark County Toys for Tots campaign, which works tirelessly to ensure no child in the county goes without a gift during the holidays.
Run by the dedicated members of the McKinley Detachment of the Marine Corps League and supported by volunteers from all walks of life, this local campaign collects tens of thousands of toys each year for underprivileged children throughout Stark County. During our holiday drive, we invited customers, staff, and neighbors to bring new, unwrapped toys to the dealership—and the response was incredible.
Our showroom filled with gifts, each one representing a moment of joy for a local child. Whether it was a stuffed animal, building set, or board game, every donation helped make the season brighter for a family in need. We were proud to serve as a drop-off location and to be part of a mission that brings our community together through generosity and kindness.

Carnation Day Parade
There’s nothing quite like the energy and excitement of the Greater Alliance Carnation Festival—and for Ken Ganley Kia of Alliance, one of the highlights each year is participating in the Carnation Day Parade! This cherished community event is part of a 10-day celebration honoring Alliance as the Carnation City, and it brings residents together for a week of festivities, food, music, and fun.
We love joining the parade lineup, decorating our Kia vehicles, and cruising through the heart of town alongside local schools, organizations, and businesses. It’s our way of showing hometown pride, celebrating local heritage, and connecting with the people who make this community so special. The grand parade winds through State Street and Union Avenue, drawing families from all over the area to enjoy the sights, sounds, and spirit of togetherness.
Whether we’re waving from behind the wheel or handing out goodies along the route, being part of the Carnation Day Parade is always a memorable experience—and one we look forward to every summer. At Ken Ganley Kia of Alliance, supporting local traditions like this is just one of the ways we stay connected and celebrate the community we call home.
Halloween Trunk or Treat
Halloween is one of our favorite times of year at Ken Ganley Kia of Alliance, and our annual Trunk-or-Treat event is the perfect way to celebrate! Each year, we transform our dealership lot into a festive Halloween wonderland filled with decorated vehicles, candy, and creativity. Kids and families from across the community join us in their spookiest, silliest, or most imaginative costumes to trick-or-treat safely from trunk to trunk.
Our team has a blast designing themed displays—from haunted houses to superhero scenes—and handing out treats with a smile. From the laughter of little ghouls and goblins to warm conversations with neighbors, Trunk-or-Treat is a fun, family-friendly tradition that brings our community together. We’re proud to host this event each year and can’t wait to do it again next Halloween!
Photos With Santa
The holiday spirit comes alive each December at Ken Ganley Kia of Alliance with our Photos With Santa event! This festive celebration is one of our favorite traditions, bringing joy, laughter, and a little bit of Christmas magic to families throughout our community.
Santa and Mrs. Claus make a special stop at our dealership, ready to greet children with a warm smile, a hearty “ho-ho-ho,” and a memorable photo opportunity. Families are invited to join us for free pictures with Santa, enjoy cookies and drinks, and take home a complimentary 4x6 print to cherish for years to come.
We love seeing the excitement on kids’ faces as they meet Santa, share their wish lists, and pose for a keepsake photo. From holiday music to cheerful decorations, our showroom transforms into a winter wonderland, making it a cozy and joyful setting for all.
This event is our way of giving back and saying thank you to the Alliance community that supports us year-round. We’re honored to help make the season a little brighter—and we look forward to welcoming even more families next holiday season!
