FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers about buying, financing, trading in, and servicing your Kia at Ken Ganley Kia Alliance.
Do I need an appointment to visit the dealership?
No. You're welcome to stop in during sales hours. If you'd like a specific vehicle ready or a product specialist waiting, call ahead or send a message.
Can I test drive a vehicle before I decide?
Yes. Bring your driver's license, proof of insurance, and your most recent pay stub and we'll set up a test drive on new and pre-owned vehicles. Tell us what matters most and we'll point you to the right trims.
Can I start the process online?
Yes. Browse new and pre-owned inventory, get pre-approved, check your buying power, and see what your trade is worth from home. Finish in the store whenever you're ready.
What do I need to bring to apply for financing?
Bring the following:
- Valid driver's license
- Proof of income (recent pay stubs)
- Proof of residence (a recent utility bill)
- Proof of insurance
If you can't bring everything, call us and we'll tell you what applies to you.
Do you work with limited or challenged credit?
We work with local banks, credit unions, and Kia Financial Services to find options for a wide range of credit situations. Visit our finance department page to learn more.
Should I lease or buy?
Leasing usually means lower monthly payments and a new vehicle every few years, with mileage limits. Buying builds equity and has no mileage limits. A product specialist can show you both for the model you want. Try our payment calculator.
Can I trade in my current vehicle?
Yes. Start with our online trade value tool, then we'll appraise your vehicle in person. Bring your title or loan information and any keys you have.
What if I still owe money on my trade?
That's common. We'll pay off your existing loan as part of the deal. If your trade is worth more than you owe, the difference goes toward your next vehicle. See understanding negative equity.
Will you buy my car even if I don't buy one from you?
In many cases, yes. Visit Sell My Car or stop in for an appraisal.
What does certified pre-owned mean?
Certified pre-owned Kias go through a detailed inspection and include extended warranty coverage and Kia's customer services. Learn about the program or shop certified vehicles.
How do I schedule a service appointment?
Call us or book online. Tell us your vehicle and what you need done, and we'll find a time that works.
What warranty comes with a new Kia?
New Kias include a 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and a 5-year/60,000-mile basic warranty. Warranties and roadside assistance are limited, so ask us for details. See Kia warranty information.
